Utility Aid, a non-profit company, is campaigning for what it believes is “The Nicest Job in Britain”, and quite frankly, it sounds like it.
The campaign is looking for a candidate to fill a life-changing job vacancy, UA’s National Philanthropy Manager, which has been dubbed the nicest role in the country.
In brief, UA are looking to fill a position that will actively benefit 45 charities and third sector organisations throughout the year in what will be a truly life-changing experience. The candidate will work at a different charity each week of 2015 helping them with whatever needs doing (e.g. admin, marketing, decorating, fundraising – literally anything!).
As well as helping the charities, the job role will include:
- £35,000 salary for the year
- Free return flights to a destination of choice for a holiday
- Chance to donate £2,500 to a charity of choice
- Car to get to the charities and accommodation at each location
You can find out more at www.nicestjobinbritain.co.uk.
UA are dedicated to saving charities time and money on their energy procurement and management by reviewing their current suppliers, advising on cost effective plans and offering utility management services. This frees up money and resources for the charities to put into what they do best – doing more good.
The Nicest Job in Britain has the potential to affect thousands of people in a hugely positive way – it certainly lives up to its label.
Each week will be different. And day to day duties will be dependent on the needs of the people we’re helping. From fundraising initiatives, to energy management, to decorating a workspace – the role is designed to help in whichever way required.
Applications close on the 7th November 2014
