Stephen Bray was a member of the, Manchester based, Cahoots publishing collective from 1982 until 1989 and a staff writer with ‘The County Forum Magazine’ from 1990 until 1995. His book ‘An ABC of NLP’, which was co-written with Joseph Sinclair, was considered to be the best lexicon on the subject for a decade. In 2003 he was awarded the Abdülkadir Özbek Award by the International Association For Group Psychotherapy for his work supporting survivors and their voluntary helpers following the Turkish Earthquake of 1999. From 2002 he was a Contributing Editor to ‘Nurturing Potential Magazine’, becoming Deputy Editor in 2004. From 2001 until 2008 he was a Clinical Tutor in Family Therapy with the Turkish Association for Child Guidance and Mental Health. His business clients included: Greenspeak, Merck U.K, Park Place Training, CACT, and Barclays Bank Plc.
His photographic images are to be found in a number of private collections. In 2010 he held a joint exhibition of photographs: ‘Trees and Sky’ with Michael Eldridge.
He lives on what ‘The Guardian’ describes as Turkey’s third finest beach, 12 miles North or Rhodes.
